This webinar will explore the diet of farmed salmon. Salmon aquaculture uses feed from global wild fisheries in the form of fishmeal and fish oil. Fishmeal and fish oil are made from wild-caught ‘forage fish’ – small oceanic fish from fisheries all over the world. We will be discussing Feedback’s latest research examining whether we could obtain the same nutrients by eating the wild fish that is fed to salmon ourselves; in short what if we ate like salmon?
